Hello lovelies!
As I take a short break from my own cleaning routine here, I’d just like to share with you, this simple and easy way to make a natural room spray for your home. It’s something I’ve done many times before, though I haven’t done it for a while now.
With a recent surge of allergic reactions to all sorts of things around me, I’ve decided to make some adjustments to the way I clean my home and become more aware of the contents of the cleaning products I buy. The general idea is to banish the products with harsh and harmful chemicals from my cupboards and become a greener cleaner of my humble abode.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tablespoon vodka (or rubbing alcohol)
- 6 tablespoons filtered water
- 10-40 drops of essential oils (use your favourite on it’s own or blend them to make a new fragrance)
The vodka helps to mix the oil and water particles, resulting in a longer lasting fragrance.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour the vodka into a small spray bottle and add the desired drops of essential oils. Shake well, then add the filtered water and shake again. Now you have a great smelling natural room spray to shake and spritz whenever you need a little pick-me-up.
Have a lovely evening!
